If you want to shop to your heart’s content in London, there are many areas that are easily accessible and well laid out. The Camden market is by far the most popular with its mix of open air and indoor markets. The nearest tube station is Chalk Farm but at the other side it is also close to Camden tube station. It has a lot of vintage clothes, arts and crafts, antiques and accessories. There is a also a large fruit and vegetable market and over 50 food stalls.
The other well known market is Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill. It has an antique market only on Saturday but its street market functions six days a week. It also has a large flea market which sells second hand clothes, music, books and jewelry. The nearest tube stations are Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove.
There is also a large thrift market at the Greenwich Market.
You can also shop for lots of fashion and beauty items for the hip and trendy at Harvey Nichols. They have a wide selection of beauty products, handbags, accessories and sunglasses and a wider range of preppie classics too. This shop has the latest fashions and hence is visited by models and fashionistas. Though it caters mostly to women, there are a few options for the men too.
H&M too has a lot of bargain shopping and has 5 stores at the Oxford Circus tube station, each with a different variety. The clothes are top quality and are well within budget. Top Shop too has a wide variety of tees and cute accessories but the quality isn’t as good as H&M.
Mango too has lots of inexpensive designer wear and is quite popular with the masses. Carnaby Street is another shopping area that sells lots of hip clothes and vintage couture and designer wear besides jeans and other hippie wear. It has the famous All Saints that is well known for its latest fashions. Zara too is worth mentioning and has a large customer base in Europe.
The cheapest store though with desirable fashion clothes is Primark. This mainly sells designer rip offs and lower-end labels but their clothes are of very high quality and long lasting. Primark also has a home section and sells shoes too. Its closest rival is Matalan which is also a budget chain store. They sell quality fashion wear and home wares at really down to earth prices. The shops are usually like warehouses stocked with piles of clothes and they cater to women with casual footwear, sports shoes, underwear, casual wear, night wear and accessories. Men too have almost the same choices with a few formal options. They also have kid wear and home accessories.
If travelling on a budget, the cheapest way to get around is bus or train. The timings are usually available online and can even be checked at the airport. The other way to travel is with a minicab which is more expensive than bus and train but much cheaper than the black cab.

Fede butikker i London:
